Dear Daddy,
You watch too much tv. It’s either your way or no way. U yell at telemarketers. U won’t hold my hand. U’re the best chef. You force me to take medicine. U eavesdrop all the time. U make us freeze to death. U always think u’re right and somehow u end up being right. Just in case u didn’t realize it, u’re the greatest father in the whole wide world. Spending time with Mama and Papa is like being with two of u and it makes me miss u even more. I finally am starting to understand, and see where u’re coming from when u get angry or upset. And I thank u for it. Because everything u did was solely for our benefit, everytime u taught Bart San Diego IV a lesson u did it to help us gain more insight for the future, everytime u scolded Alexandra San Diego u did it solely to teach us between right and wrong, everytime u encouraged or pushed TJ San Diego u did it to help us set our own goals and learn to stand up for something, everytime u said no to Sabrina San Diego a u did it out of love and protection, everytime u make Amy Evangelista to clean u wanted us to learn to be independent and be able to take care of ourselves, and everytime u loved Becky San Diego u may have done it indiscreetly, u may have openly denied it, but u did it to show us that the people who push ur buttons the wrong way, the people who force u to face the things u would rather ignore, often the people who are able to hurt u the most are the people who really love u the most.
I love u daddy it may have taken years but I truly am comprehending the type of life u had to live and the man u were growing up. And there is nobody in this world who I would ever have take ur place. I love u more then words can say. U’re truly one of the people who showed me the good in helping others & being there for people. U never say no to anyone in need, u take in anyone, u feed any mouth, u help and love anyone as if they were ur own son or daughter. U, the man who always yells, losses his temper, and also has one of the biggest hearts I know. Thank u for helping me become the person I am today. Thank u daddy, for being you. I love you.
